Pictures

I was thinking about this blog the other day and wondering how long it has been since I posted anything on it.  I then decided that it didn't matter that it has been a while.  I will just start from here. 

So many things have happened since the last post.  Maybe we will catch up a bit later on.  For now I decided that I just want to post some pictures.  I got a "fancy" camera for my birthday and I am just learning how to use it.  I have taken a few classes and have played around a little bit.

A whole lotta nothing

So once again it has been a while since I have done this.  I asked the kids today what they did and they both said "Nothing".  When I asked them to tell me 3 things so I could blog about it, again I was told that there was nothing to say.

So apparently our lives have been super busy with a whole lot of nothing lately.  Why am I so tired?

There is a lot that I need to blog about..

Zander turned 8, was baptized and earned his wolf badge.  Although the slacker of a cub master (me) has not awarded it to him yet.

Here is everyone that came to support Zander at his baptism.

Here is the awesome cake that Grandma Beauchaine made for him and sammy.

Sammy had a birthday party at Hollywood conections.  The kids went on lots of rids, got balloon animals and got their faces painted.  They had fun.

My nephew calvin came with my mom too and I was the designated adult to go on rides with him.  It was fun.

We also carved pumpkins at my parents house for FHE and celebrated the kids birthday's.

When did life get so busy????  There are no signs of stopping in the near future either.

3 Things....Finally

We are going to switch things around and let Abby go first today.  As a side note, these pictures are from their fishing trip over the weekend that I still need to blog about.  One of these days when I have time....

#1 The first thing that I did was go outside after I done my work
#2 Then I learned the letter M
#3 And then I played on the playground again
one more thing...Then I worked, worked, worked

Zander

#1 My first thing, I had music time.  We sung "Deep and Wide"
#2 I found a ball that said super bounce this morning when I got to school.  Me and my friends played with it
#3 We played soccer 3 times

6 things and a fishing blessing

With the Internet being out 2 days this week and then having 5 kids and just me yesterday, this is the first chance that I have had to do this.  The kids both decided that they should be able to tell me more things since we haven't done it at all this week.  So here are the 6 things for today.

Zander

#1 I had PE today and I did some really fun stuff it was so fun.  I went on a yellow floor board, I looked backwards and did this (stood on one leg) and then I ran back
#2 I put my backpack in the gym because it was a short day and then I had to line up in the gym cause that was the only place I had to do it.
#3 I picked up my backpack and headed in line. Then the bell rang and I headed to pick up my sister then we went and met Brody and waited for Marly.
#4 I went to Brody's house and I watched a hero factory movie
#5 I played with Nerf guns outside and I did chalk
#6 I packed up a bag for tomorrow because tomorrow I get to go fishing with my dad and his dad and Phil and I think that there is some more people I don't know.

I just put the kids to bed and this was part of Zander's prayer that I thought I would share. "Please bless that we will have a fun time tomorrow fishing. And that we won't get skunked."  Love it. :)

Abby

#1 The first thing is that I walked our dog to school, but I didn't get to give daddy and Dexter hugs when the bell rang.  I was sad.
#2 I lined up and gave Ms. Rocha my green folder
#3 And then I played for recess
#4 I got to go to my friend Marly's house after school.  We played with chalk and Nerf guns
#5 I got to push a small shopping cart around the store with my mom
#6 Then I played in the chair while mommy got her hair cut

Not a lot to say

It has been a long few weeks.  We haven't  been keep up on this.  And the internet is being silly, so no pictures today. Here are the 3 things for today.

Zander

#1 I had homework to do, it was due tomorrow
#2 Today was the first day of the week
#3 It was my teacher's wife's birthday


Abby

#1 I played at recess
#2 Then I went inside and I did my work and I went to recess again
#3 After Grandma picked me up, I went to waterford.

Adventures at the Library

Look at me, I have a little more to say today than the 3 things from the kids.

First here is my 3 things :)

In the past, I have let the kids pick up a book or a DVD when I go to pick up or drop off a book at the library.  Zander needed to get a book about an animal to do a book report for school.  While we were looking I suggested to the kids that we check and see if they can get their very own library card.  They were super excited about this idea.  When we checked, they told us that as long as a parent is there, they can get their own cards.  So we signed them up and they were able to check out their own books.  They both wanted to put the cards in their pockets and were not too happy when I told them that I was going to put them in my wallet with my card so they wouldn't get lost.  But that only lasted a minute and they were OK with it.

Also, when I picked up the kids from school, I noticed Zander's shoe was "talking" to me.  I forgot to take a picture of it, but by talking I mean that the sole had come loose from his shoe and was flapping when he walked.  We immediately went to the shoe store (I never have any luck with his shoe size at the DI) to pick up a new pair.  Turns out he needed a size 4 - 4 1/2 shoe.  The ones he was wearing were size 3.  I don't know how he can wear the shoes that are too small day in and out and not complain about them hurting.  We just had him wear the shoes out of the store and he threw the old ones away.

As if this isn't enough adventures for one day, we still have to go to SEP conference for Zander and then I have book club tonight as well.  I think that Tony is going to come over and help the neighbor with some car repairs while I am there for book club.  So it is probably going to turn into "The Beauchaine's invade the Wampler's".  Should be fun :)  One of these days our lives are going to slow down, right?

Here are the 3 things for today for the kids.

Zander

#1 I watched a movie about kindness
#2 I wrote down about the things in the movie that were kind
#3 I did math today.  I had to go from pages 27 to 40 (that seems like a lot to me, he said he didn't make it all the way).

Abby

#1 The first thing I did was go to school with dad and brother and Dexter
#2 I um....um...um...played in my playground
#3 I did painting.  I painted a glory.  (I asked her what that was and she just shrugged her shoulders and told me I don't know.

We're back

We have had a crazy few weeks.  With Tony's sister getting married and my work being crazy, I just haven't been on here a lot lately.  The kids miss it though and reminded me today to do it.  So here we go.

Zander

#1 I had a new person in my class today.  I don't remember her name.  I will ask her tomorrow and then tell you.
#2 My teacher, Mr. Lima, told us that his wife is having a baby.
#3 I did an owl for Mr. Lima.  And I wrote on it. And here is what it said, "I hope you are feeling good soon.  Love Zander."

I just have to say that I love Abby's outfit today.  I had to work at 7 am this morning, so I was out the door before anyone was even up.  I don't know if this is her doing or Tony's but it is adorable. :)

#1 I played on the playground for recess
#2 I had snack after recess
#3 We worked on the letter F. Some things that start with F are Fish, Fishie, Fish food and Fox.  I know how to spell Fox, F-O-X, Fox.
